⚠ Wall area = 2 × (L + W) × H. Deductions: 21 sq ft per door, 15 sq ft per window (USG / Georgia-Pacific standard). Sheets = ⌈Total area × (1 + 10% waste) ÷ 32 sq ft⌉. Joint compound: 1 gal per 100 sq ft. Screws: ~36 per 4×8 sheet at 16" OC. Install ceiling drywall before walls. Use ½" for walls, ⅝" Type X for garages and fire-rated assemblies.
